Program Overview

The Programa Interuniversitario de la Experiencia (Interuniversity Program of Experience) at the Universidad de Salamanca has seen a 12% increase in enrollment, with approximately 1,500 students participating in the program's activities across its different campuses in Ávila, Béjar, Salamanca, and Zamora.

Program Details

• The program is led by the Vicerrectora de Estudios de Grado y Calidad, Bertha Gutiérrez Rodilla, and directed by Francisco Javier Rubio Muńoz.
• The program has experienced growth in all seven of its sedes (Salamanca, Ávila, Béjar, Benavente, Ciudad Rodrigo, Toro, and Zamora), with the Salamanca sede reaching 550 students, a 15% increase from the previous year.
• The program's budget has also increased, allowing for an expansion of its educational offerings in Benavente and Zamora.
• Over 160 professors are involved in teaching courses and giving conferences across the program's different sedes.

Inaugural Event

The program's inaugural event for the academic year took place on October 2, featuring a conference titled "La experiencia del amor a lo largo de la vida" (The Experience of Love Throughout Life) given by José Luis Martínez Álvarez, a professor of Psicología Evolutiva y de la Educación (Evolutionary and Educational Psychology) at the Universidad de Salamanca.

• The program's growth indicates its leadership in matriculations among all universities in Castilla y León.
• The involvement of various governmental and institutional representatives, such as the Subdelegada del Gobierno en Salamanca (Government Subdelegate in Salamanca) and the Concejal de Mayores del Ayuntamiento de Salamanca (Councilor for the Elderly of the Salamanca City Council), underscores the program's significance and community engagement.
