Program Overview

The Programa Univerusal is an initiative of the Servicio de Asuntos Sociales at the Universidad de Salamanca, in collaboration with various diputaciones, ayuntamientos, and third-sector entities. The program aims to create an inclusive university environment for all students, with a focus on accessibility and imparting diverse subjects to enable students to acquire skills for their daily lives.

Program Details

• The program is developed in collaboration with the diputaciones of Salamanca and Zamora, the ayuntamientos of Alba de Tormes, Ávila, Béjar, Ciudad Rodrigo, Peńaranda de Bracamonte, Salamanca, Tamames, Toro, Vitigudino, and Zamora.
• It promotes the creation of an inclusive university for all students, with an accessible format.
• The program imparts various subjects, allowing students to gain skills for their daily lives.
• It has been recognized with the Premio Solidario Grupo Social ONCE Castilla y León 2023 for its work in promoting social inclusion and accessibility.

Program Development and Reach

• The program has been developing since the previous academic course, expanding its reach to different municipalities in Salamanca, Ávila, and Zamora each year.
• Currently, it has more than 270 participants across its various locations.
