Program Overview

University Program: LIFE-Modulstudium "Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik"

The LIFE-Modulstudium "Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik" program offers working professionals and other interested individuals the opportunity to participate in modules from regular master's programs in the Faculty of 4. Upon successful completion of these modules, participants receive a module certificate with the earned credit points.

Program Structure

The program allows participants to take part in various modules, with the possibility of attending additional modules from the teaching program after consultation. The semester periods are as follows:

• Winter semester 2025/2026: October 13, 2025 - January 30, 2026 (application phase: August 1 - September 15, 2025)
• Summer semester 2026: April 7, 2026 - July 10, 2026 (application phase: February 1 - March 15, 2026)
• Winter semester 2026/2027: October 12, 2026 - January 29, 2027 (application phase: August 1 - September 15, 2026)

Modules

The following modules are available for the program:

• Fluid handling in spacecraft (Raumfahrttechnik, 3 CP, Winter semester, in English)
• Mechanik der Faserverbundwerkstoffe I (Luftfahrttechnik, 3 CP, Winter semester)
• On-Board Data Handling (Raumfahrttechnik, 3 CP, Summer semester, in English)
• Werkstoffe des Leichtbaus I (Luftfahrttechnik, 3 CP, Winter semester)

Participation and Certification

Participants who successfully complete the modules will receive a module certificate with the earned credit points. The possibility of attending additional modules from the teaching program is available after consultation.
