The University of Tsukuba Extension Program is designed to provide high-quality education and training to individuals seeking to enhance their careers and professional development.
Career Professional Training Course (15th Term)
The Career Professional Training Course is a comprehensive program aimed at developing leaders in the field of career support. The course is based on the idea that "people develop throughout their lives" and is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to become career professionals.
Course Overview
The course is a 21-day program that covers various topics, including:
- Career development and counseling
- Psychological support for workers
- Leadership and organizational development
- Research methods and practices
The course is taught by a team of expert instructors from the University of Tsukuba and other institutions, including:
- Professors and associate professors from the University of Tsukuba
- Professors and associate professors from other universities
- Specialists from various fields, including psychology, education, and business
Course Schedule
The course is scheduled to take place from October 5, 2025, to March 29, 2026, with a total of 21 days of instruction. The course will be held at the University of Tsukuba's Tokyo Campus, with classes taking place from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

The course will cover a range of topics, including:

- Psychological support for workers

- Career consulting and coaching

Eligibility and Admission
The course is open to individuals who meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Hold a national qualification as a career consultant or career counseling skills officer
- Are in a leadership position in a career support field
- Have a strong interest in career development and counseling
Admission to the course is limited to 24 participants, and selection will be based on a review of applications.
Tuition and Fees
The tuition fee for the course is 296,000 yen (including tax). Discounts are available for members of the Career Counseling Association (CCA) and individuals who have completed the Japan Manpower "Career Consultant (CDA) Training Course".
Certificate of Completion
Participants who complete the course and submit a final project will be awarded a certificate of completion from the University of Tsukuba.
