Specific Course: (AKAD38) Strong women the misunderstood, unknown gender?

This seminar explores the topic of women who have been overlooked or forgotten in history. The course description includes:

• The seminar is an invitation to constructive discussion about women who have been denied recognition for their cultural achievements.
• The course will examine the conditions for women's self-determined activity and their "free time" for such activities, from historical times to the present.
• The seminar will use various texts, including Virginia Woolf's "A Room of One's Own" and Mascha Kaléko's poem "The Achievement of Women in Culture," as a starting point for discussion.
• Participants are invited to share their own contributions and knowledge about pioneering women.
• The seminar will take place online, with eight sessions on Fridays from October 24 to December 12, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:30 am.
• The fee for the course is 90 euros if booked as a single event.
