Course Details

Fundamentals of molecular biology, genetic engineering and biotechnology

This course covers the basics of molecular biology and biotechnology, with a focus on practical examples from the molecular biology laboratory. The course includes the following topics:

• Basics of microbial examination methods (February 13)
• Basics of molecular biology (March 6)
• Molecular investigation methods (March 13)
• Applied Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering (March 20) The course is taught by Dr. Julia Otte and takes place on four Fridays (February 13, March 6, March 13, and March 20, 2026) from 10:00 to 12:15. The course fee is 60 euros.
