The Tokyo Institute of Technology (TiROP) offers two programs for students from partner universities: the Summer Program and the Joint Supervision Program.

Program Overview

The Summer Program is a short-term research project held at Tokyo Institute of Technology from June to August.

Program Details

• The program is research-based, allowing students to participate in short-term research projects.
• Students are affiliated with a research laboratory at Tokyo Institute of Technology, where they engage in research activities.
• In addition to research, the program includes Japanese language acquisition and cultural events, such as tea ceremonies and traditional Japanese performances.
• In 2014, 24 students from 16 partner universities participated in the program.
