Placement Test

The placement test is a prerequisite for taking all English courses at the University of Potsdam. The test results determine the course assignments for students.

  • 60-69 points: UNIcert II/2 EAP
  • 70-79 points: UNIcert III/1 (Wiwi/Sowi)
  • 80-100 points: UNIcert III/2 (Wiwi)
  • 90-100 points or UNIcert III Certificate: UNIcert IV/1 (EAP)

Registration

Registration for the winter semester starts on the first working day in October, and for the summer semester, it starts on the first working day in April.
