Human Growth Data Analyses and Statistics Program
Overview
The Human Growth Data Analyses and Statistics program is a summer school program offered by the University of Potsdam. The program is designed for Master's, PhD students, or PostDocs in Physical Anthropology, Human Biology, and Biostatistics.

- An initial statistical seminar at the University of Potsdam
- A "retreat working week" at G³lpe, with intensive work and social activities
- A soiree on Friday evening, with a final presentation
- Transfer back to Potsdam on Saturday
- Instructions for a relaxed weekend in Potsdam or Berlin
Expectations
Participants are expected to:
- Bring their own data to be analyzed during the program
- Present their analysis at the final seminar on Friday afternoon
- Prepare a manuscript for publication in a peer-reviewed international journal within six months
- Read the book "Auxology Studying Human Growth and Development" before the program
Application
The application includes a short curriculum vitae, publication list, motivation, and a short description of the data set to be analyzed during the program. The number of participants is limited to 15.
