Program Description
The Clinical Exercise Science program focuses on the application of exercise science principles to prevent and manage chronic diseases and disorders. Admission Criteria
- Completion of a bachelor's degree in a related field, such as exercise science, physiology, or biology
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Letters of recommendation from academic or professional references
- At least two letters of recommendation are required
- Personal statement outlining research interests and career goals
- The personal statement should be no more than two pages in length
Program Requirements
- Completion of a minimum of 30 credit hours of graduate-level coursework
- Completion of a research thesis or project
- Passing of a comprehensive exam
- The comprehensive exam will be administered at the end of the second year of study
- Completion of an internship or practicum experience
