Introduction to the DSH-Kurs+

The DSH-Kurs+ is an intensive course offered by the University of Potsdam, designed to prepare international students for the Deutsche Sprachpr³fung f³r den Hochschulzugang (DSH), a language proficiency test required for admission to German universities.


Objectives of the DSH-Kurs+

The primary objectives of the DSH-Kurs+ are:

Structure of the DSH-Kurs+

  • Apply through uni-assist e.V. for the "DSH-Kurs+" program
  • Pass an entrance test

Tuition Fees

The DSH-Kurs+ costs 400 Euros, plus a 160 Euro examination fee. The course also includes a semester ticket for public transportation in Potsdam and Berlin.


DSH Exam

The DSH exam is a standardized test that assesses language proficiency in German. It consists of four parts:


  • Listening comprehension
  • Reading comprehension
  • Written expression
  • Oral expression

External Candidates

External candidates who wish to take the DSH exam without participating in the DSH-Kurs+ must:


  • Apply through uni-assist e.V. for the "Anmeldung DSH" program
