International Exchange Program (Outbound) of the Engineering Schools
The International Exchange Program (Outbound) of the Engineering Schools is a short-term study-abroad program at partner institutions.

The program is designed for postgraduate students (PhD or Master's) of Engineering Schools at Science Tokyo.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the program, students must:
- Be postgraduate students (PhD or Master's) of Engineering Schools at Science Tokyo.
- Satisfy the requirements provided by the program and host institutions, including language ability and grades.
- Have a TOEFL (iBT) score of 70 or above, or a TOEIC score of 650 or above.

Dates
The program has two application periods:
- The first call for applications: June to November
- The second call for applications: December to May The program duration is two to three months from September to November, with a minimum of 60 days.
Number of Nominees
Around two students per institution will be nominated, with a GPA requirement of above 2.30 for the previous year.
Credits
Students can earn credits by taking the "Advanced International Experience" course.
Scholarships
The Engineering Schools' Funds and other scholarships are available to support students.
Application Procedure
The application procedure includes:
- Submitting an application form
- Providing a recommendation letter from an academic supervisor
- Submitting a resume in English
- Providing a copy of English language test scores
- Submitting an academic transcript in English
- Providing a statement of reason
- Obtaining acceptance consent from a host professor
Screening Procedure
The screening procedure consists of document screening and an interview.
Deadline
The application deadline is by noon on Friday, May 30, 2025.
