Introduction to the EPFL Summer Internship

The EPFL Summer Internship is a research program organized by the School of Computer and Communication Sciences at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). Participants will be affiliated with a research laboratory and conduct research for 2-3 months. The program provides a monthly stipend of CHF 1,800 and covers travel expenses.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the program, applicants must be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in one of the following fields:

• Computer Science
• Computer Engineering
• Telecommunications
• Electrical Engineering Applicants must be at least in their second year of study at the time of application.

Host Institution

The host institution for this program is the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), located in Switzerland.

Duration

The internship lasts for 2-3 months, typically between May and September. The exact duration and travel dates will be determined in consultation with the host laboratory.

Expenses

There is no participation fee for the program. EPFL provides a monthly stipend of CHF 1,800 and covers travel expenses.

Application Procedure

Applicants must submit their applications directly to the EPFL website. Please note that our institution does not offer any scholarships for this program. For those who wish to receive academic credits, please contact the study abroad office.

Deadline

The application deadline is December 1, 2024. Please note that the deadline falls on the first Sunday closest to December 1 every year.
