Program Overview
The Career-up MOT (CUMOT) program at the Institute of Science Tokyo is designed for working professionals who aim to take on next-generation corporate management roles. The program is tailored for individuals from diverse industries and job types, including manufacturing, IT, services, and finance.
Program Details
Program Duration
The program runs from October 2025 to March 2026, with weekly sessions every Wednesday from 19:00 to 21:00 (tentative). Additionally, participants are expected to engage in self-study and submit assignments.
Target Participants
The program is geared towards working professionals who will take on corporate management roles in the future, such as:
- Technical management staff
- Business planners
- Managers
- Candidates for executive positions
- Venture company entrepreneurs
Participants from various industries and age groups (20s to 50s) have previously enrolled in the program.
Program Location
The program will be conducted online via Zoom or in-person at the Tamachi Campus (CIC) in Tokyo, with a combination of both online and in-person lectures.
Application Period
The application period is from August 1, 2025, to August 28, 2025.
Tuition Fee
The tuition fee is 220,000 yen (including consumption tax). Payment will be made by bank transfer, and refunds will not be issued after payment.
Number of Participants
The program aims to recruit 24 participants. However, due to carry-over applications from the previous year, the actual number of new recruits may be around 18-20.
Application Method
To apply, please fill out the application form and submit it to the specified address by the deadline. Electronic submissions (PDF or Word files) are also accepted.
Screening and Notification
After receiving the application, a document screening will be conducted based on the application form, statement of purpose, and letter of recommendation. The results of the screening will be notified by email within one week after the application deadline.
Curriculum Overview
The program covers various topics, including business simulation, M&A, and business evaluation. The curriculum is designed to provide participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to take on corporate management roles.
