Introduction to the Roberta Program

The Roberta program, offered by the Fraunhofer IAIS, provides training and certification for teachers, students, and individuals with a background in didactics, pedagogy, and technology. Program Structure

The Roberta program consists of various training sessions, including:

• One- or multi-day trainings led by a Roberta Coach
• Certification as a Roberta Teacher or Roberta Scout
• Specialized training in programming and constructing robots and microcontrollers

Training Content

The training sessions cover:

• Gender-sensitive teaching methods
• Programming using a graphical programming language, such as the Fraunhofer programming language "NEPO"
• Constructing and programming robots and microcontrollers
• Developing individual robotics courses

Participation and Certification

• Teachers and individuals with a didactic-pedagogical or technical background can participate in the Roberta Teacher training
• Students can participate in the Roberta Scout training as a precursor to the Roberta Teacher certification
• Experienced Roberta Teachers can become Roberta Coaches
• MINT enthusiasts can participate in Roberta Scout training, Roberta Basic training, or advanced training, such as Roberta Experts training

• Partial funding for the training costs is available from the MINT department of the study orientation program
