Early Childhood Music Program

The Early Childhood Music Program provides an informal, play-based music environment where children participate alongside their caregivers. A child's first musical experiences begin at home with their caregiver(s). Just as children learn language through immersion first, children begin building their musical vocabularies from a very young age. Expanding upon such musical encounters can have positive developmental impacts, especially when experienced with a parent/guardian, or caregiver.

Program Details

The Early Childhood Music Program classes run on Sundays for 10 weeks. There are two sessions offered:

• Infant/Toddler: Birth-2 years old
• Preschool: 3-5 years old Adult caregivers (maximum of 2 per child) are required to participate alongside their child(ren). No prior musical experience is required.

Family Discount

Families registering more than one child at the same time through a Family Account can receive a $10 per child discount. You must have two or more children's enrollments in your cart for the discount to be available. Once all enrolling children have been added to the cart, click on "Apply a Discount" and select the discount in the drop-down. Only one discount can be used per enrollment and payment, and the discount must be applied upon initial enrollment for all children. It cannot be applied after an enrollment has been completed.

Session Information

All sessions are held at the Paul Creative Arts Center, 30 Academic Way, Durham NH, in the Bratton Recital Hall. Additional information, including parking instructions, are sent directly from the instructor 1-2 weeks before the first class meeting.

Refund Policy

No refunds are provided, including for missed sessions.
