Introduction to the University Program

The University of Minho offers a Preparation Course for Individuals Over 23 Years Old, designed for those who wish to pursue higher education but did not have the opportunity to complete a traditional educational path.

Course Description

The course covers the Portuguese language (mandatory) and a specific discipline, exempting interested individuals from taking the Portuguese language and specific discipline exams required for the Special Competition for Holders of Proofs for Over 23 Years Old, provided they pass the course in the same year they apply.

Admission Period and Requirements

• The admission period is from September 1 to September 12.
• The necessary documents include:
  • Registration form
  • Declaration of commitment and knowledge
  • Civil and tax identification document
  • Proof of payment of the registration fee
• The registration fee is 26 euros, and the course fee is 600 euros, payable in six installments of 100 euros each.
