The PhD in Fashion Design is a collaborative program between the University of Minho and the University of Beira Interior, aiming to advance high-level fashion design training in a knowledge-based society.

Program Objectives

The program promotes multidisciplinary teaching, involving culture, marketing, and technology, and fosters fundamental and applied research integrated into associated Research Units. The primary goal is to train highly qualified specialists and researchers for autonomous research, development, and innovation in academia or business.

The program consists of 6 curricular semesters, designed to enhance interaction between the University and industry for competitiveness and sustainability.
