Adair and Bollenbacher Research Experience for Undergraduates

Introduction

The Adair and Bollenbacher Research Experience for Undergraduates is a program funded by endowed scholarships established to honor the late Dr. C. Roy Adair and the late Katharina Bollenbacher. This program allows students to conduct their own research project under the guidance of faculty in the Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology at the University of Arkansas.

The program is designed to provide research experiences for undergraduates. It is funded by endowed scholarships that honor the contributions of Dr. C. Roy Adair, a geneticist and plant breeder, and Katharina Bollenbacher, a U of A alumna and USDA scientist.


Program Details

  • Applicants should be in the top 25% of their class
  • Applicants should be upper-level undergraduates (90 credit hours earned)
  • Interns register for credit at the University of Arkansas
  • The program offers a $6,000 stipend and on-campus housing (The Marshall Arkansas)
  • The program will run from May 14th to July 24th
  • Students are required to enroll for credit

Program Structure
