Program Overview
University Recreation + Wellness Program
The University of Arkansas offers an American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid certification course through its University Recreation + Wellness program.
Course Description
The course covers Adult and Pediatric CPR, First Aid, including bleeding emergencies, sudden illnesses, and muscle/bone/joint injuries, as well as operation of an AED. Participants must be 15 years old on or before the date of the class.
Course Format
This is a Blended Learning course, requiring completion of an online module before the date of the class. Online module information will be sent out six days before the course.
Registration
Registration closes one week prior to the class date. Only University of Arkansas students and faculty/staff with active UREC memberships are eligible to register.

- Wednesday, February 11th 6:00-8:30pm
- Monday, March 9th 6:00-8:30pm
- Tuesday, April 14th 6:00-8:30pm
Cost
- $90.00 for University of Arkansas students
- $110.00 for non-University of Arkansas students
Cancellation Fee
- $25.00 until 2 weeks prior to class date
- 50% of class cost until 1 week prior to class
- 100% of class fee within one week of class
Custom Classes
With a minimum of 8 participants, University Recreation + Wellness can bring this class to an office, residence hall, or other venue.
