Introduction to the Veteran Impact Program
The Veteran Impact Program (VIP) is a one-semester cohort program designed for incoming or transfer student veterans to support their transition to the University of Arkansas. The program introduces various themes to enhance their collegiate journey, focusing on skills and knowledge that will benefit them both during their time at the university and after graduation.
Program Details
The Veteran Impact Program utilizes strengths-based coaching, allowing participants to explore topics that help them identify, reflect, and grow in skill development. The program employs both peer-to-peer and faculty-staff veteran mentoring to assist participants in understanding and adjusting to life on campus.
