The Nutrition: Health and Wellness program at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of nutrition and its role in promoting health and wellness. This undergraduate program is offered through the College of Life Sciences and Agriculture (COLSA) and is designed to prepare students for careers in health promotion, disease prevention, and nutrition education.
Program Overview
The Nutrition: Health and Wellness program is a four-year undergraduate program that requires the completion of 128 credits. The program includes coursework in nutrition, health, and wellness, as well as electives in areas such as kinesiology, business, and health management. Students in this program will gain a strong foundation in the sciences, including chemistry, anatomy, physiology, and microbiology, as well as nutrition-specific courses in nutrient metabolism, chronic disease prevention, and lifestyle intervention.

Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the Nutrition: Health and Wellness program, students must meet the university's admission requirements, which include:

- Completion of prerequisite courses in mathematics, science, and English
Current UNH students who wish to change their major to Nutrition: Health and Wellness must have:
- Earned a minimum of 12 UNH credits
