- UK students: ABB at A level, including Mathematics at B (not Use of Mathematics)
- International students: 128 tariff points, including HL Maths/Maths Method or HL Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches at 5 or SL Maths/Maths Methods at 6 (not Maths Studies/SL Maths: Applications & Interpretations)
- BTEC Nationals: DMM in a relevant Science or Engineering subject
- International Baccalaureate: 128 tariff points, including HL Maths/Maths Method or HL Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches at 5 or SL Maths/Maths Methods at 6 (not Maths Studies/SL Maths: Applications & Interpretations)
