Graduate Internship Procedures

  • Graduate Internship positions are open to full-time, course-based Master's students currently enrolled in graduate programs at Memorial University that align with STEM.
  • Internships are part-time (up to 24 hours per week) and are paid at the current graduate assistant rate of $25.94 per hour.
  • Students can hold one Graduate Internship per semester.
  • Master's students can participate in a maximum of one internship through the program during their graduate studies.
  • Each internship normally lasts for 12 weeks.

Eligibility and Requirements

  • Internships are available to full-time, course-based Master's students in STEM fields.
  • Students must be currently enrolled in graduate programs at Memorial University.
  • International students must ensure they do not exceed the allowable number of work hours as determined by their immigration document.

Work Hours and Duration

  • Students are expected to work with the employer for up to 24 hours per week.
  • Each internship normally lasts for 12 weeks.
