Introduction to the Cardiovascular & Renal Science Graduate Program
The Division of BioMedical Sciences (BMS) in the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University hosts the Cardiovascular & Renal Science graduate program. This program offers students the opportunity to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree as part of a vibrant research community.
Program Description
Students in the Cardiovascular & Renal Science graduate program receive training in cardiovascular and renal physiology through biomedical laboratory research, coursework, seminars, and an annual BioMedicine research symposium, along with other opportunities for professional development on campus. The Faculty of Medicine supports a visiting speaker program, teaching assistant (TA) opportunities, internal awards and scholarships, administrative staff support, and the Office of Research & Graduate Studies dedicated to medicine graduate student matters.

- MSc (Med): Bachelor's degree (minimum second class) in an appropriate area of study

Application Deadlines
Applications to the Cardiovascular & Renal Science program are considered throughout the year for Winter, Spring, or Fall start dates. Applicants must hold a superior academic record and be accepted by a faculty supervisor(s) within the Faculty of Medicine.
