MScN Nurse Practitioner Option

The MScN NP Option prepares nurses at an advanced level to practice as NPs within the health care system, within health care organizations or in private practice. NPs work in a variety of settings such as acute care, community clinics, emergency departments, outpatient clinics, family physicians' offices, long-term care facilities, and in primary health care clinics.

The program of study for individual students may vary, based on course availability and student activity within the program. All courses are delivered in an online format, but some courses include an onsite session and/or clinical placements.
