Program Overview


Introduction to the Botanical Garden Program

The Botanical Garden offers a variety of programs for individuals of all ages. One of the programs is the Nature Tots program, which is an outdoor toddler and adult program.


Nature Tots Program

The Nature Tots program includes stories, songs, duck feeding, and a stroll through the gardens and trails. The route is stroller accessible, and the program is breastfeeding friendly.


Program Details

  • The program is ideal for little ones who are around 1 year up to 5 years old.
  • Many adults bring babies who are under 1, and enjoy their time for adults to socialize and spend time in nature together.
  • The Drop-In fee covers 1 adult and 1 child. Additional adults and children in the family are subject to Add-On fees.
  • Payments are taken at the Visitor Services Desk upon arrival.
  • There is no fee for babies under the age of 1 who are attending with an older sibling.

Pricing

  • 1 Session: $15 for 1 adult and 1 child, $10 for additional adults, $4 for additional children
  • 5 Sessions: $60 for 1 adult and 1 child, $45 for additional adults, $15 for additional children
  • 10 Sessions: $110 for 1 adult and 1 child, $85 for additional adults, $25 for additional children
  • 15 Sessions: $150 for 1 adult and 1 child, $120 for additional adults, $30 for additional children

Session Passes

  • 2025 Season Pass Holders receive a 10% discount on all Nature Tot Session purchases.
  • Session passes can be transferable, but must be used in the 2025 season.

Program Schedule

  • The program runs rain or shine, but may be cancelled in extreme weather.
  • If more than 3 sessions are cancelled in the 2025 Season, a pro-rated refund will be offered for anyone who purchased the Full 2025 Season: 18 Sessions of Nature Tots.
  • The program is offered for two time slots on Fridays: 9:00 a.m. 10:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. 12:00 p.m.

What to Bring

  • Necessary:
    • A snack and drink for your child(ren)
    • Appropriate clothing for the weather
  • Optional:
    • A stroller for children who are not comfortable walking for the duration of the program
    • A blanket, bummer, or kneeling pad to sit on during story/snack time
