Program Overview
International Business Program
The International Business (IB) program is designed for high-achieving students who have a passion for travel, culture, business, and learning a new language. This program typically takes five years to complete and leads to the award of two degrees.
Degree Options
- A Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in international business and a focus in a specific discipline, such as:

- A Bachelor of Arts with a major in a foreign language, including options in:

Internship Requirements
Before graduation, IB students must complete an internship or work for a U.S. company conducting significant international business for a minimum of 10 weeks. The internship should ideally reflect the student's specific business discipline and language proficiency area, but will ultimately depend on the student's initiative, qualifications, and interests.

Study Abroad
The IB program emphasizes real cross-cultural immersion, both academically and in a real-world business context. Studying abroad provides students with an invaluable opportunity to expand their horizons, gain new perspectives, and develop intercultural communication and problem-solving skills.
Study Abroad Requirements
All IB students will study abroad for either a summer or a regular semester term after their 4th year, for a minimum of six weeks. Students may elect to participate in formal exchange programs with partner institutions in:
- Belgium
- Canada
- China
- France
- Germany
- South Africa
- Spain
- Taiwan Alternatively, students may design their own study-abroad experience with input and assistance from their advisor.
