The Career Center provides various resources and services to support students, alumni, and employers. These services include appointment and drop-in hours, a mentor program, and a career closet.


Co-op Program Options

The Co-op Program offers students the opportunity to gain practical work experience in their field of study. The program provides a range of options, including full-time and part-time co-op positions, as well as summer internship support.


Career Outcomes

The Career Center tracks and reports career outcomes for graduates, providing insights into the job market and industry trends. The outcomes are available through an interactive dashboard and college-specific reports.

Human Resources: Writing an Effective Job Description

This course, taught by Jackye Clayton, covers the essential components of an effective job description, including how to craft job titles and summaries, structure responsibilities, and showcase compensation. Students will also learn how to evaluate job descriptions for compliance with legal standards and develop inclusive and unbiased language.

The Career Center is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with drop-in hours from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm.
