Program Overview

Program Overview

The Translational Medical Chemistry program is situated at the interface of chemistry and biology, intended for students in the biological sciences, health fields, or ENSCM. This program aims to develop interdisciplinary skills to meet research and innovation needs in the fields of health, biotechnology, cosmetics, and agri-food.

Objectives and Career Opportunities

Building on a foundation of structural, molecular, and cellular biology, this course provides theoretical and methodological training in the field of drugs, dealing with rational design and innovation, and nanotechnologies for vectorization and targeting. Courses in pharmacokinetics, toxicological investigation, and therapeutic pharmacology enable understanding of the fate of a molecule within the body. Internships in the second year of the Master's program encourage the continuation of thesis studies at French or International Universities in fields at the chemistry-biology interface. The Translational Medicinal Chemistry program helps train professionals for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, agri-food, and biotechnology industries.
