Master Sciences du Bois Program
The Master Sciences du Bois program offers 16 places in initial training and 4 places in alternating training.
Prerequisites for Application
To be eligible for the program, applicants must:
- Hold a Bac+3 degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Mechanics, and be open to interdisciplinary studies and motivated to reach the required level in less familiar disciplines.
- Alternatively, hold a Bac+3 degree in a forestry-wood professional training program or other disciplines (economics, architecture, political science, history, etc.) with strong motivation.
- Be in professional reconversion (continuing education): capable of following a scientific training at the Bac + 5 level. For verification of this condition, please contact the program managers.
Application Process
- The master's program is accessible by application.
- If the application is selected, a motivational interview will be proposed. For the application dossier, the following are required:
- A CV
- Transcripts from the baccalaureate onwards
- Answers to the following three questions:
- Present your professional project: field of activity, jobs, type of structure. For candidates in professional reconversion, indicate your reconversion project. (15 lines maximum)
- How have your academic, professional, and personal experiences led you to build your professional project in wood sciences? (15 lines maximum)
- What are your skills (knowledge, know-how, and soft skills) acquired during your academic, professional, or extraprofessional career? (15 lines maximum)
Tuition Fees
Continuing Education
Tuition fees for the two years depend on each individual situation. Please contact the university's continuing education service for guidance.
Initial Training
- Application fees are 243 per year.
- Scholarship holders are exempt from registration fees.
Alternating Training
Please inquire with the CFA (Training Center for Apprentices) for details.

Once enrolled in the master's program, it is possible to register for a gap year before the M1, without disrupting the pedagogical continuity between the M1 and M2 with the gap year.
