Program Overview


Program Overview

The certification Pix is a national certification recognized by the state. The objective is to accompany the elevation of the general level of knowledge and digital skills in view of the digital transformation of society and the economy. The obtaining of the certification PIX allows attesting to the level of mastery of digital technology and its uses.


Program Objectives

The acquisition of the certification PIX will allow achieving three objectives:


  1. Elevate the general level of knowledge and digital skills
  2. Improve mastery of core digital skills
  3. Develop capacities for autonomy and adaptation to digital uses in any professional environment

Program Structure

The Pix platform evaluates mastery in five major areas and 16 digital skills of the European DigComp framework:


  1. Information and data (search engine, information watch, fake news, file organization, spreadsheet use...)
  2. Communication and collaboration (email, calendar, social networks, collaborative tools, e-citizenship...)
  3. Content creation (text processing, image, sound, and video, layout, copyright, programming...)
  4. Protection and security (personal data, accessibility, workplace ergonomics, cybersecurity, environmental impacts of digital technology, cyberharassment...)
  5. Digital environment (technical problem-solving, operating system, components, history of computer science...)

Evaluation and Certification

The score in each domain is noted according to an evaluation grid of 8 levels, ranging from novice (levels 1 and 2) to expert (levels 7 and 8), including independent (levels 3 and 4) and advanced (levels 5 and 6). To guarantee the professional value of the certification, a level between 3 and 4 must be achieved in the 16 skills (at least 384 PIX credits).


Program Details

  • The formation is conceived in link with the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Montpellier.
  • The short formation PIX counts 32 hours of formation for a cost of 950 per person.
  • The formation is eligible for the Personal Training Account (CPF).
  • For the current year, one formation session is planned:
    • Start of formation: April 2026
    • Exam: July 2026
  • End of registrations: March 2026
