Overview

The Bachelor Universitaire de Technologie R廥eaux et T幨嶰ommunications (B.U.T. R&T) is a three-year program designed to train professionals in the fields of internet, telecommunications, and cloud computing.

Objectives

The program aims to form technicians, engineers, and executives for the internet, telecommunications, and cloud industries.

Alternance

The program offers an alternation option starting from the second year, providing a gateway to professional integration.

Competences

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to:

• Administer, monitor, and secure networks and the internet
• Connect businesses and users
• Create tools and applications for R&T
• Manage mobile network infrastructures
• Implement secure applications and protocols for the Internet of Things
• Pilot network, system, and security infrastructures
• Develop applications for the Cloud and the Internet of Things (IOT)

Sectors of Activity

The B.U.T. R&T program trains professionals who work in system administration, computer science for communications, network administration, telephony, and application development.

Recruitment

The program is open to general and technological baccalaureate holders, with a preference for students who have taken:

• Mathematics
• Digital and Computer Science
• Physics-Chemistry
• Engineering Sciences

Admission is also possible for other baccalaureate series and equivalent foreign diplomas, as well as for students from a university background.

Study of the Application

The admission process involves evaluating:

• The quality of results obtained in high school, particularly in scientific disciplines, languages, and anticipated baccalaureate exams
• The candidate's attitude in high school, including behavior, attendance, and teacher evaluations
• Ability to work in a team, communicate, and evolve
• Interest in internet, network, and telecommunications careers
• Alignment with the candidate's professional project
• Candidate motivations for associated careers

Passerelles

The B.U.T. R&T program offers a bridge entry from the second year for holders of a Bac+2 degree. To apply for the bridge, candidates must submit a dossier on the e-candidat platform.

Organization of the Formation

• Start date: September
• Duration: 3 years
• Volume of hours: 2600h
• Internships: 8 weeks in the 2nd year, 16 weeks in the 3rd year
• Professional situation exercises: over 1000h
• Knowledge control: continuous assessment
