Introduction to the Baylor Online MBA Program

The Baylor Online MBA program offers students the opportunity to achieve a renowned Baylor education from anywhere in the world. At the Hankamer School of Business, the program cultivates principled leaders who want to make an impact. A successful applicant demonstrates a desire to learn, a track record of professional success, and an ability to communicate well.

Applicant Qualifications

To apply to the Baylor Online MBA Program, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Two years of professional work experience is preferred
• An undergraduate degree from an accredited US college or university or its equivalent in another country

Application Requirements

To complete the application, the following materials must be submitted:

• Detailed Resume
• Two letters of Recommendation
  • Recommenders should be professional contacts such as a supervisor, colleague, or client who can speak about the applicant's talents, work accomplishments, and qualifications
  • Within the application, the name, organization, title, and email address of two references must be provided
• Transcripts
  • Transcripts are only required from degree-granting institutions for bachelor's degree and higher
• Application Fee
  • The application fee is waived for all applicants
• Optional Personal Statement
  • Personal statements should include the applicant's reason(s) for applying for their desired program, how this program will help them achieve their professional/academic goals, and any additional information the applicant deems relevant to their success in the program

Admission Criteria

• A GMAT/GRE is not required to be admitted to the Online MBA program
• An interview is not required, but the Admissions Committee may schedule an interview if more information is needed

Transfer Credits

• Up to 9 transfer credit hours can be accepted upon admission
• No transfer credits will be considered after the start of the program
• When considering transfer credits, the Graduate School guidelines must be referenced

The program offers multiple start dates per year. The application deadlines and class dates are as follows:

• Fall 2025 Part A:
  • Application Deadline: August 15, 2025
  • Class Start Date: September 2, 2025
  • Class End Date: October 17, 2025
• Fall 2025 Part B:
  • Application Deadline: October 15, 2025
  • Class Start Date: October 27, 2025
  • Class End Date: December 13, 2025
• Spring 2026 Part A:
  • Application Deadline: December 1, 2025
  • Class Start Date: January 5, 2026
  • Class End Date: February 20, 2026
• Spring 2026 Part B:
  • Application Deadline: February 15, 2026
  • Class Start Date: March 2, 2026
  • Class End Date: April 20, 2026
• Summer 2026 Part A:
  • Application Deadline: April 15, 2026
  • Class Start Date: May 4, 2026
  • Class End Date: June 20, 2026

International Students

• English Language Tests: All foreign national applicants are required to provide a score from the TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE Academic test
• Foreign Transcripts: If the applicant is an international applicant or attended a foreign university, they must follow the guidelines for foreign transcripts
