Requirements for a Major in Theatre Performance

The Theatre Performance program requires seventy semester hours, including the following courses:

  • THEA 1316: Costume and Stage Makeup Elements (3 hours)
  • THEA 1324: Script Analysis (3 hours)
  • THEA 1380: Theatre Aesthetics: Visual Storytelling (3 hours)
  • THEA 2301: Acting: Physical Methods (3 hours)
  • THEA 2302: Acting: Shakespeare (3 hours)
  • THEA 2298: Ballet I (2 hours)
  • THEA 2299: Jazz I (2 hours)
  • THEA 2371: Lighting and Sound Elements (3 hours)
