Program Overview

Interior Design Program

The Interior Design program is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA), the national accrediting agency for interior design education. The curriculum provides opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge, and learning experiences that prepare students for professional careers with interior design and architectural firms, other design-related careers, or graduate education.

Program Overview

The program addresses competencies necessary for passing the NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) exam, a step required in Texas and many other states for interior design certification or licensure. The program incorporates a strong liberal arts background with supporting courses in the arts, sciences, and humanities.
