The IPR Symposium in the Great Bay Area 2025 is an international workshop on intellectual property in Guangdong, designed to foster cross-regional collaboration and unite young talents from the global community to explore intellectual property and entrepreneurial innovation.
Program Overview
The program will deliver professional lectures and organize field visits centered on key fields such as artificial intelligence, high-end manufacturing, low-altitude economy, short-video economy, and geographical indications. Participants will gain insight into cutting-edge professional knowledge and have the opportunity to visit leading technology enterprises and institutions related to IPR in the Greater Bay Area.

Eligibility
The program is open for enrollment worldwide. Ideal applicants may include, but are not limited to:
- Undergraduate or graduate students
- Legal professionals (e.g., lawyers, IP agents)
- Young entrepreneurs
- Startup founders or other professionals in the field of Intellectual Property
Enrollment Capacity
A total of 30 participants will be admitted to this program.
Program Components
- On-Campus Lectures: Delivered by professors from prestigious domestic and international universities, legal experts from major tech companies, and senior lawyers
- Off-campus Visits: Seven guided visits to intellectual property administrative departments and large tech companies in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, or Zhuhai
Fees and Financial Support
This is a non-profit program, and no tuition fee is charged. Participants are responsible for covering their own transportation to and from Guangdong, visa fees, and medical insurance premiums. Expenses on lodging, meals, off-campus visits, and accident insurance during the program period will be covered by the organizer.

- A brief motivation letter for participating in the workshop (in English, max. 300 words)
- A recent Curriculum Vitae (in English)
Accommodation and Meals
Accommodation and meals for all participants will be arranged by the organizer.
Completion and Certificates
Participants who complete the program will receive a Certificate of Completion, co-issued by the Guangdong Administration for Market Regulation and Jinan University.
Insurance and Medical Examination
Participants are required to have medical insurance in China, covering the whole duration of study. The organizer will purchase accident insurance for each participant during the 9-day workshop. Each participant will be required to present a medical certificate upon arrival.
