The Chinese Modern and Contemporary Political History program is a professional elective course that integrates three key elements of curriculum thought politics: road confidence, family and country feelings, and dialectical thinking. The course aims to cultivate students' dialectical thinking and innovative consciousness, enhance their confidence in the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and strengthen their sense of family and country identity.

Course Team

The teaching team for the Chinese Modern and Contemporary Political History program consists of eight teachers who have achieved outstanding results in teaching and research. The team members have received various awards, including the Guangdong Provincial Education Teaching Achievement Award, the Jinan University Teaching Achievement Award, and the National University Innovation Teaching Competition Award.

Research Areas

The program focuses on the history of modern China, exploring the exploration process of generations of sages and scholars, and excavating the institutional characteristics behind complex historical events. The program aims to improve students' ability to think dialectically and innovate, and to enhance their understanding of the Chinese socialist system.

Teaching Materials

The program team is planning to compile a textbook entitled "Chinese Modern Political History Special Lecture Notes," which has been formally approved by the Jinan University Graduate Teaching Material Construction Project. If published, the textbook will further expand the influence of the Chinese Modern and Contemporary Political History program nationwide.
