Overview
From Teeth to Toenails is a course that discusses hospital dentistry, focusing on workflows and the roles of different professionals in case planning and execution. This course is part of a four-part series aimed at increasing awareness of caring for Nevadans with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD).
Objectives
Following participation in this course, participants should be able to:
- Discuss who does what in a hospital setting
- Describe the general overview of a hospital case from start to finish
- Review the basic differences between traditional clinical care and operating room care
