Program Overview


Introduction to the UNH London Program

The University of New Hampshire's College of Liberal Arts invites sophomores, juniors, and seniors from all majors and colleges to participate in the UNH London Program. This program offers students the unique opportunity to spend a semester studying in the heart of London while making progress towards their degree.


Program Details

  • The program is based at Regent's University London, a center for international study abroad.
  • Students can take courses in British studies, business, the arts, and a wide range of other subjects.
  • Optional, credit-bearing internships are available, providing students with real-world work experience.
  • The program includes housing and meals, and students will reside in University housing and take most meals in the University dining hall.

Eligibility Requirements

  • A minimum of 2.5 GPA at the time of application and departure.
  • Earned at least 12 credit hours at UNH/PSU at the baccalaureate level.
  • Earned at least 32 credit hours at the time of departure.
  • No disciplinary record (academic dishonesty, arrest, etc.).

Regent's University London

Regent's University London is one of the UK's most respected independent universities and one of the most internationally diverse, with students from more than 140 different countries worldwide. The university is situated in the heart of Regent's Park in central London.


Academics

Faculty Directors

  • Jim Parsons, COLA Dean's Office, is the Program Director for the London Program.
  • Monica Chiu, Professor of English, is the spring 2027 On-Site Faculty Director for the London Program.

Curriculum

  • UNH London Program students will take 5 courses for a total of 16-20 credits.
  • This includes two mandatory classes taught by the UNH faculty resident director (COLA 653 and COLA 670) and three courses chosen from Regent's University.
  • Courses offered at Regent's University London are taught primarily by British faculty and capitalize on local resources.

Internship Option

  • Gain international work experience while studying abroad through Regent's University's partnership with Impact Consulting.
  • Internships are unpaid and credit-bearing, with students earning 5 transfer credits through Regent's required IAE 503 Industry Placement course.
  • Additional fees apply, including a 」500 placement fee and a 」524 student visa fee.

Costs and Inclusions

  • Students participating in the UNH London Program pay UNH tuition, fees, and a London Program Fee (estimated $8,000).
  • The London Program Fee covers tuition surcharge, double room, meals, activities organized by the Resident Director, and other expenses.
  • Housing and meals are included, with students living on the campus of Regent's University in shared double dorm rooms.
