Programme in Project Management (PPM) Weekender

The Programme in Project Management (PPM) is a well-established programme that equips students with the necessary skills and tools to manage projects professionally. The skills taught are applied in individual assignments that are performed in the workplace, although being employed is not a requirement.


Course Description

The PPM is applicable to projects in all sectors of business and government. It is presented by the same lecturers who present Africa's only master's programme in project management that is accredited by the Global Accreditation Centre of the Project Management Institute (PMI).

    • This module covers the fundamental principles and practices of project management.

    • This module explores the legal aspects that project managers need to be aware of.
  • Project procurement and contract management
    • This module delves into the procurement and contract management aspects of project management.

    • This module focuses on the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks in project management.
  • People-side of project management
    • This module examines the human resources aspect of project management.
  • Project quality management
    • This module discusses the importance of quality management in project management.
  • Financial principles and project cost management
