Programme Overview
The University of Pretoria offers a Master's programme in MIS Library Science, which is housed in the Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology. This programme has a minimum duration of study of 1 year and requires a total of 180 credits.
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission to the MIS Library Science programme, applicants must have a BIS or BISHons degree specialising in any of the specific packages for:
- Library Science
- Information Science
- Multimedia
- Publishing Alternatively, applicants with any equivalent honours degree may also be considered.
