The BEng in Metallurgical Engineering is a 5-year undergraduate program offered by the Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology. The program has a module code of NPY 316.
Module Content
The module content includes an attendance module only, where students undergo at least six weeks of prescribed training in industry during or at the end of the second year of study. A satisfactory report on the practical training must be submitted to the Faculty Administration within one week of registration. In exceptional circumstances, the prescribed minimum period can be reduced, as approved by the Dean.
