The university program in Greek Language, Literature, and Culture is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the Greek language, literature, and culture. The program focuses on the study of neohellenistics, with students learning the Greek language from a theoretical and practical perspective.
Program Structure
The program includes the study of modern Greek, classical Greek, and the history of the Greek language. Students will become familiar with the basic characteristics of ancient and Byzantine literary and cultural traditions, as well as modern Greek literature, including Cypriot literature.
