Summer School Program

Contemporary Challenges in Housing: Affordability, Commodification, Segregation

The Summer School explores pressing urban housing issues, with a particular focus on Belgrade, while also addressing broader perspectives in urban studies. The program aims to contribute to broader discussions on urban housing development by examining the intersections of social housing, affordability, commodification, resident participation in housing processes, and both micro- and city-wide segregation.

  • Course Target Group: Undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students from fields such as geography, architecture, urban planning, sociology, economics, and other related disciplines.

  • Form: Morning lectures, afternoon field trips, and a lunch break in between, with additional online meetings for preparation.
