Doctoral Program at CeRIES Laboratory

Obtaining Funding for Thesis Research
There are several ways to obtain funding for thesis research, including:
- Doctoral Contract: The university has the possibility of hiring doctoral students through a doctoral contract, established for a period of three years. Candidates' applications are reviewed by the doctoral school, after obtaining the opinion of the thesis director and the laboratory.
- Regional Allocations: The regional council of Nord-Pas-de-Calais awards regional allocations. Calls for applications are visible on the council's website, and offers are launched from February.
- CIFRE Contracts: The Conventions Industrielles et de Formation par la Recherche (CIFRE) provide funding for doctoral research in partnership with industry.
- Other Funding Opportunities: Other funding opportunities include postes d'ATER (AttachÈ temporaire d'enseignement et de recherche).
