Computer Science Master's Program
Overview
The Computer Science Master's program at the University of Tartu is a 2-year program that provides students with a strong foundation in computer science. The program is designed to prepare students for a career in the software industry or for further studies in computer science.
Admission Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in computer science, information technology, software engineering, computer engineering, information systems, or a related field.
- English language proficiency.
- Motivation letter.
Curriculum
The program includes courses in distributed systems, cryptography, verification, artificial intelligence, data mining, data science, parallel computing, cloud computing, cyber security, and secure programming.

Tuition Fee
The tuition fee for non-EU/EEA citizens is 7,200 per year. EU/EEA/Swiss citizens and permanent residents do not have to pay tuition fees.
Scholarships
There are tuition fee reductions available for admitted students. Ten admitted students will receive a 50% tuition fee reduction for their second semester, based on their academic performance.
Application Process
The application process includes submitting an online application, motivation letter, and required documents. The application system opens on January 2 and closes on March 15.
