Introduction to the "Talents to Tartu" Program
The "Talents to Tartu" program is designed to offer attractive learning opportunities to new students who have achieved excellent academic results in their previous studies and have thereby demonstrated their readiness for university-level education.
Program Overview
The program aims to diversify the learning experiences of participants. To be eligible, candidates must have graduated from high school in 2024, 2025, or 2026, be admitted to the University of Tartu, and meet one of the following criteria:
- Have participated in international Olympiads or the final round of Estonian Olympiads
- Have achieved a score of at least 90 points in both the Estonian language and mathematics state exams
- Have scored at least 80 points in the University of Tartu's academic test
Priority is given to Olympiad participants. The program's goal is to make the participants' studies more diverse.
Application Process for the 2026/2027 Academic Year
Registration and detailed information about the program's directions will be announced in May 2026. The "Talents to Tartu" program is coordinated by the University of Tartu's School of Sciences.
Program Structure
Once accepted into the University of Tartu and the program, participants will create their own study program alongside their regular curriculum, choosing from three directions:
- Participation in projects
- Development of teaching skills Participants can change their direction each year or continue on their chosen path.
