Program Overview

The University of Tartu offers a master's program in "Teacher of Estonian as a Second Language in a Multilingual School." This program is designed for individuals who wish to teach Estonian as a second language in a multilingual school setting.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the program, applicants must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent and have completed at least 24 EAPs of general linguistics subjects in Estonian. Applicants must also demonstrate proficiency in Estonian at the B2 level.


Admission Procedure

The admission procedure consists of two parts: a subject examination and an interview. The subject examination assesses the applicant's knowledge of Estonian language and literature, as well as their pedagogical skills.
