Introduction to the Art & Philosophy BA (Hons) Program

The Art & Philosophy BA (Hons) program is offered by the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design at the University of Dundee. This program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of both art and philosophy, allowing them to explore the intersections and relationships between these two disciplines.

Assessment methods vary between modules in Fine Art and Philosophy:

• Modules in Fine Art are assessed through the production of a substantial body of work, demonstrating skills in research, creative development, and informed making practices.
• Modules in Philosophy are assessed through coursework essays, tutorial performance, exams, and dissertations.
